Welcome to Gamebox.au 🎲 — your ultimate companion for Digital TV Tabletop (DTT/TVTT) roleplaying games!

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Gamebox.au platform, website, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By using Gamebox.au, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who We Are

Gamebox.au is a digital tool designed for Game Masters to bring their tabletop RPG sessions to life through animated maps, effects, and campaign organization. Based in Australia, we proudly serve players and GMs around the world.

2. Eligibility

You can use Gamebox.au without age restrictions. However, to sign up for a Mythmaker or Gamemaster subscription, you must be legally authorized to make payments using a valid credit card.

3. Accounts

To access most features of Gamebox.au, you'll need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account.

Gamebox.au reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

4. Subscriptions & Pricing

We offer a tiered subscription model:

• Storyteller (Free): Basic features
• Mythmaker ($5 AUD/month): Enhanced map tools and access to more animated assets
• Gamemaster ($10 AUD/month): Full feature access, premium animations, and advanced campaign tools

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the billing date. Prices are in AUD and may be subject to change with notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Gamebox.au for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Share your account or login with others
• Upload or distribute content that is offensive, harmful, or violates any laws
• Interfere with the functionality or security of the platform

We're here to make RPGs awesome, not chaotic in the bad way.

6. User Content

Any content you upload (like custom maps or campaign notes) remains yours. By uploading it, you grant Gamebox.au a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store and display that content as part of the service.

We don't claim ownership, but we do need rights to make the platform work for you.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content — including animated effects, maps, UI, branding, and design — is owned by or licensed to Gamebox.au and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without permission.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

You can cancel your subscription anytime via your account settings. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused time.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Gamebox.au is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We aim for uptime and reliability, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access or freedom from errors or bugs.

To the extent permitted by law, Gamebox.au is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in our services or policies. When we do, we'll update the “Effective Date” and notify users if the changes are significant.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in NSW courts.
